Introduction
Printer One: Print & Scan helps users select, preview, scan, and print supported content from an iPhone or iPad. This policy explains what information the app accesses when you use local printing features, optional Google features, optional Dropbox features, this website, or support email.
Information We Collect or Access
The app may access content you choose, such as photos, images, PDFs, local files, scanned pages, web content, Dropbox files, Gmail messages, or Google Drive files. It may also access permission-related information needed to operate selected features. The website may receive normal hosting logs such as IP address, browser information, request path, and timestamps. Support email may include the information you send to us.
Google Account Integration
Printer One accesses Google user data only when a user explicitly connects their Google Account and chooses to use a Google-powered feature. Connecting a Google Account is optional and is only required when you choose to access Gmail or Google Drive features.
Printer One's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used for targeted advertising, advertising profiles, selling personal data, unrelated marketing, unrelated analytics, or training artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
You can revoke Printer One's access to your Google Account at any time through your Google Account permissions.
Gmail Data
Printer One may access Gmail message content in read-only mode so users can browse their own messages, open a selected email, preview it, and print it. Printer One does not send, modify, delete, archive, label, forward, or otherwise alter Gmail messages.
Gmail access is used only to provide the user-requested email previewing and printing feature. It is not used for advertising, profiling, marketing, unrelated analytics, or AI model training.
Google Drive Data
Printer One may access supported files selected by users from Google Drive so those files can be previewed and printed. Printer One uses Google Drive access only for the files required to provide the printing feature and does not use Google Drive data for advertising, profiling, marketing, unrelated analytics, or AI model training.
Dropbox Data
Printer One can connect to Dropbox so users can browse their Dropbox files, select a supported file, preview it, and print it. Dropbox access is read-only for this feature. Printer One does not upload, edit, rename, delete, or share Dropbox files.
The reviewed app code requests Dropbox account information, file metadata, and file content read permissions. It uses Dropbox's authorization flow, stores session credentials using device secure storage, and downloads selected supported files through Dropbox's HTTPS API. You can disconnect Dropbox in the app and revoke the connection from your Dropbox account.
Photos and Local Files
When you choose photos, images, PDFs, local documents, camera scans, or web content, Printer One uses that content to preview, prepare, convert, share, or print it. Device permissions such as camera, photos, files, and local network are requested only when needed for app features. You can change device permissions in your device settings.
How We Use Information
Information is used to provide the features you choose, including previewing content, preparing printable output, connecting to optional providers, troubleshooting support requests, protecting service integrity, and complying with legal obligations. Printer One does not sell Google user data.
Data Storage and Retention
Content accessed for preview and printing is processed only as necessary to provide the requested feature. Printer One does not permanently store Gmail message contents, Google Drive file contents, or Dropbox file contents on its servers.
The reviewed app stores print-history records and document copies locally on your device. The app's current history store targets a 30-day retention period and performs automatic cleanup while the app runs or resumes. Cleanup may be delayed if the app is closed or if a storage operation fails. You can delete history entries sooner. Exported files, shared copies, device backups, email provider data, cloud provider data, and printer queues may remain outside Printer One.
Support emails are retained as needed to respond to requests, maintain records, and meet applicable obligations.
Advertising and Analytics
Printer One does not use Google user data for advertising, advertising profiles, unrelated analytics, or unrelated marketing. The reviewed printer website does not add analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or third-party fonts.
Security
Dropbox requests use HTTPS and Dropbox session credentials use secure storage in the reviewed app. Google connections, when enabled, should use Google's authorization flow. Local files and history rely on device storage and device security. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so print sensitive content only on devices and printers you trust.
User Choices and Account Disconnection
You may decline device permissions, avoid optional account integrations, disconnect Dropbox in the app, revoke Google access through your Google Account permissions, revoke Dropbox access through Dropbox account settings, delete local history entries, and uninstall the app. Disconnecting an account stops future access but does not automatically delete exported, downloaded, printed, backed-up, or shared copies.
Data Deletion
You can disconnect your Google Account from Printer One through the app where that control is available and revoke access through your Google Account permissions. You can disconnect Dropbox in the app and revoke access through Dropbox account settings. You can delete local print history entries inside the app.
